Hi Sharon,
"I'm sorry I'm so long in replying. Of course I'll write a referral."
"The information that Sharon gave me has been life-changing! Its effect is very real. For example, I learned what to do when I start to feel depressed, and it works every time. I can be happy in every situation, and I've learned that all mistakes are fixable, so I'm not afraid of them anymore. I feel as if all of the things that were holding me back in the past have fallen away. For years, I read books, went to counselors, and tried different programs and methods, but in the end, my life and relationships were basically the same as they had always been. Sharon's coaching in Personality Science rapidly (seemingly overnight) changed my life for the better. It even enhanced everyday encounters as well as pivotal relationships and achievements. I think that what I like best is that the information is specific to each individual, whereas in other programs, they seemed to try to apply the same approach to everyone. This is the solution--and it is very real." C.T.

"Personality Science has opened up my eyes to a new way of approaching people and being able to determine how to deal with them depending upon their traits. Interpersonal communications are so much easier and have less chance of misunderstanding when you understanding what their characteristics are and what makes people tick. Sharon is brilliant at what she does and I would recommend her program to anyone seeking to know more about themselves and how to "read" others more easily, and understand what specific traits mean and how that affects your life and your interpersonal communications."
Warmest Regards,

From Jeremiah, young man just finishing high school.
He says, "I was just thinking about what started my theory on abstract thinking. Your personality test (assessment) showing me that I was abstract (has trait of Abstract Thinking) really sparked it. It was one of the greatest things that gave me the confidence in that I am not stupid. I just wanted to let you know how grateful I am."
"I have always thought the American school systems are really messed up. At the beginning of my schooling I had the idea that if you got straight A's you where smart and if you got bad grades you were not smart. That seems to be the idea schools have and the idea schools were teaching students. I never got good grades as a young child, so this led my deception of the idea that I was not smart."
(Jeremiah wrote me a two-page testimonial. The above quotes are from that paper. He told me that he thought that if he tried harder he would do better and although he did a bit better he now realizes that their method of reading material and memorizing facts was against his way of thinking. If you read his whole paper you would see just how abstract his thinking is. He was put in special education classes although in reality he is highly intelligent!
The Abstract Thinker has difficulty in accepting facts at face value because they complicate all facts by adding theory and possibilities. Their thinking is sometimes disjointed and so they are often put in the slow learner category when they need to be in a school for intellectual geniuses.)
Here is Jeremiah's closing paragraph: "All these ideas seem to be unidentified to schools and I have found that very upsetting. They are often what keep brilliant people from understanding that they are smart, and not only limiting the individual's success but limiting the success of man-kind as a whole. This, in the end is the reasoning behind my understanding that the American school systems need a great amount of improvements for things to work properly." J. F. in Arizona

Hello Sharon
"When I was first involved with having personology (Personality Science) done, I was having problems with school and life.. By talking about certain trait related problems with Ms. Crandall, I was able to work out a plan with her for myself to alter the traits for the better. ..personology has helped me in ways I didn't think were possible." PERSONALITY SCIENCE CASE HISTORIES
Names have been changed and sometimes circumstances a bit,
to protect the individual's privacy..
Robert: Still in high school at age 19. I saw his room before I measured his profile and knew he had the trait of Unconventional Judgment because of his art work. His parents thought he was mentally off when growing up. He was put in "slow" classes in school and had difficulty in making friends because of being slow of speech. He had very poor self-esteem when I first met him.
After personality assessment he came to realize that he was very intelligent, in spite of being behind in school and labeled as "slow". He learned that he was very inventive and creative and was able to accept that he was a very intelligent and artistically talented young man. He also knew that his being unusual was actually a gift for inventing and he started working on some inventions. He also came to know that his slowness stemmed from his traits of Analytical and Sequential Thinking which gave him a very methodical thinking process; but that he measured just fine in intelligence. His slowness of speech stemmed from his thinking process.
After understanding his own unique trait pattern we worked on his social skills and then started working on career possibilities as he finished high school. He later told me how much I had helped him and that he had friends now; and he also told me that he was getting known as "the scientist". When I first met him, he would hardly look you in the eye and after Personality Science his whole countenance was visibly brighter and he connected with you when he greeted you. His view of himself and outlook on life changed quite dramatically.
Emma: Attended my Basic Course as a brush up and shared her story with me and gave me permission to use it: Many years ago she was under the care of a psychiatrist, who was getting ready to put her in an institution because he had done everything he could for her and could not help her. She told me that he thought she was crazy, her family thought she was crazy, and she, herself, thought she was crazy. She said, "I had so many mood swings, I never knew when I woke up in the morning who I was going to be that day." She also said that the worst thing about the mood swings was the terrible guilt she felt.
She also would get physically ill around people at times, and didn't know why. She also would suddenly feel ill at times, and then later find that one of her children was in trouble. In those days, any kind of E.S.P. was considered hallucination by psychiatrists and she would have dreams of things happening, or about to happen. One time she passed a man on the sidewalk in her neighborhood and became very ill. That night she dreamed of a little girl being found in a ditch and the morning papers verified that a little girl had indeed been found dead in a ditch near her home. She felt like the man she had passed on the sidewalk was probably the killer.
Just before being put in an institution someone told her about a Personality Science practitioner (called by a different name at that time) and she had her personality chart assessed. She told me that after the practitioner told her all about her traits and trait mood swings, etc. that she literally cried for three hours with relief, that at last someone understood her and knew why she felt, reacted and acted like she did. For the first time in her life she knew she wasn't crazy.
She found out that she was highly sensitive; and therefore her E.S.P. triggered her feeling ill when she was sensing things from others. She also discovered that she had the trait of Things Interest; and having that trait, along with being highly sensitive, made it difficult to be around people for very long. She learned that it was perfectly normal for her to be experiencing the range of feelings and reactions that she felt on a daily basis. She developed her talent for art and said she would know when it was time for her to retreat to her art room. She was able to understand her E.S.P. and control it better and that her mood swings were also under greater control and the guilt was gone! She could not say enough about how this science changed her life for the better; and that taking my classes had given her even more help and understanding of her trait pattern. She felt that Personality Science had actually given her a life.
Kareen: Young woman striving for a musical career. Kareen met this producer with whom she wanted to work. I helped her understand his traits and how to work best with him. She had some knowledge of Personality Science and so when she met his music engineer she knew that his influence could make or break the relationship with this producer.
She immediately saw a trait difference that told her she must back off and come on very low key or she would intimidate him and make him feel like she was trying to take over his job, even though there was no intention to do so. She totally changed from her naturally confident and take-charge personality to asking and needing his opinion about things. They became fast friends and totally helped to make the total relationship with that studio a successful one.
Understanding Personality Science can make the difference in having a successful business relationship or not.
Jonathan: About 33 years old and in his father's occupation which he intensely disliked. Jonathan felt guilty for wanting to be in a different occupation as he was the only son left to follow in his father's footsteps. He asked me if I thought it was okay to get into an occupation he loved and where he could continue learning. He had two traits that when combined, gave him a high need to learn and learn and learn. I encouraged him to do so. He became a college instructor where he could learn and grow continually. He ended up very happy in his new career. He has since been able to move on to a more challenging area of his career where he can continue to grow, being true to his native traits of Mental Aspirations, Information Interest, Mental Ceiling, and others.
Maria: Maria had reluctantly starting taking anti-depressants, not knowing what else to do with her personal and marital problems. She felt helpless in her interaction with her husband. After her personality assessment and coaching program she learned new skills in how to acknowledge and speak her boundaries without having a big fight. She also gained confidence and felt much more of a sense of direction in her life.
